S.S.M ARTS CENTREThe Centre is categorized into three dimensions namely:
AFRICAN LANGUAGE INTEGRITY This is the theoretical part of the dimension, where everything is basically on the academic side. The whole process of understanding the African languages and what impact does it have in our writings and drafting of novels, scripts, compilation of written poems, etc. In addition, it emphasizes that all respective groups of Arts will start with the theory before the next step which is the practical part.
Arts department
Within this department we implement the theory and start preparing for final product which will be the performing step; this will be implemented using different languages, styles, approach to showcase the talent and creativity. The combination of African language diligence and Art department will further produce a very strong collective literature team to collaborate all the effort of writing, not forgetting the painting and other arts.
Performing Arts department This is the final stage of S.S.M Arts Centre, where the whole process will be performed and evaluation process will then be implemented. All the information will be combined and performed to the public to analyse the growth within the S.S.M Arts Centre. Therefore, the production team will be composed of different categories such as drama, traditional dance, handcraft, standing comedy, and so forth. Furthermore, the teams will plough back to the community by visiting schools and doing projects that will empower the community especially youth in Arts. These will also help the communities through the establishment of S.S.M Arts Centre in communities, to voice out the importance of Arts to the youth of the country. |
